Do the political math.

April 23, 2011

According the graph that I saw in the paper today, Denise Kouri, NDP candidate for the Saskatoon-Humboldt riding, seems to think that she can win since the NDP received vastly more votes than the Liberal candidate in the last two elections.

This graph has two major errors.  First, the y-axis should start with zero but, of course, that would diminish the apparent differences between the two parties.  Second, the Conservative Party was left off of the graph.

In 2008, the CPC candidate received more votes than the NDP, Liberals, and Green parties COMBINED.
