Go back to Mexico. Take care of your own problems.

May 28, 2010

First, Mexico’s President Calderon stood next to President Obama and criticized Arizona’s new immigration law.  If he thinks the Arizona law is harsh perhaps he should review his own country’s laws.  You would not want to be in Mexico illegally.  (Michelle Malkin has details about how Mexico treats illegal immigrants.)  Perhaps he could work on improving life in Mexico so Mexicans would want to live there instead of sneaking into the US.

After giving a bit of immigration advice to the US, Calderon zipped up north to lecture Canada about pollution.  Seriously.  As Ezra Levant suggested, “Perhaps Iran’s president will be next in line, to teach us something about the treatment of women, and China’s president will come to give us tips on a free press.”  Heh.  Click through to Ezra’s post on the subject; he concludes that Calderon is after the money Mexico could potentially receive from developed nations under a Kyoto-type agreement.

No thanks.  Mexico can keep the hypocritical opinions and the pollution.  We should keep our money.

    Spot on, Michele!

It’s SO much easier to point a finger (in accusation) than to lift a finger (in positive action).

It’s worse than the pot calling the kettle black. It’s like the bomber demanding a match from the intended victim.

And sadly, some of those professional victims in the halls of power are all too eager to acquiesce.
