A Month of Mail

December 29, 2009

I took part in a challenge issued by Candace at “Musings of a Melancholic” to write a letter every day for the month of November.  I got a late start but I did write 28 letters — four each to seven wonderful women.  And in return I received a pile of letters!

I forgot just how nice it is to find an actual note or letter or postcard in the mail amongst the bills and ads.  I highly recommend this challenge to everyone.  It’s quite contagious.

This little writing clutch purchased from Etsy made the challenge even easier to complete:

It is always nice to recieve mail. You get a warm feeling that just isn’t there when you open email.

That writing pouch is a FABULOUS idea…esp if you want to go out to write letters.

Love seeing the notes all together like that! Thanks Michele, for not only participating, but for being a new friend!

Just seeing the mail up on my wall makes me smile.

I’m also glad to have you as a new friend, Candace.

I love seeing your pile (so nicely arranged btw) of snail mail too!
