Never trust a twitter.

August 20, 2009

Jack Moline set off an avalanche in the interwebs today with a claim that Obama said “We are God’s partners in matters of life and death” during a discussion with rabbis about health care reform.

One little problem.  As suggested in a Time magazine column, the tweets weren’t clear and Jack Moline has now deleted the related Twitter posts.

He is rallying the religious troops in support of his health care reform plan but the quote can’t be attributed to him.  Having not seen the original tweet, I would guess that Mr. Moline made the “God’s partner” statement himself.

I don’t know. Do businesses pay to use Twitter? Are they data mining and selling to marketers? Is there advertising on their pages?
