The slow jihad.  Creeping sharia.  According to Dawa.net, schools are an ideal place to introduce the non-muslim to the beauty of islam.  It is happening all over the US and Canada.  I have seen it in my own children’s school.  And guess what - the liberal dhimmis in the school are the enablers, falling all over themselves to accomodate muslims…even when the muslims are not even asking anyone to change things.

One person (NOT a muslim) on parent council suggested that we stop singing Christmas songs about Jesus at the “Winter Concert” because some of the “foreign parents” looked uncomfortable during the singing.  These Muslim parents (mostly recent immigrants and refugees from Muslims countries) didn’t look uncomfortable to me - they looked confused because they didn’t speak english and didn’t even understand what was being sung.  I doubt that they even knew that the songs were about Jesus.  The fact is, the ”foreigners” at the concert looked equally confused and “uncomfortable” when we sang the national anthem.  Regardless, our concerts are so multicultural now, you certainly couldn’t call them Christmas concerts.  So it is okay to have a presentation about Eid, but not okay to sing a song about baby Jesus?  Because it might offend muslims?  It is okay to discuss the meaning of Ramadan but not okay to explain the meaning behind the celebration of Christmas?  That is just wrong.  And regardless - don’t muslims consider Jesus a prophet?  What’s the problem?

While I am Jewish, and an atheist, I have NO problem with the Christmas concert and the “Easter” concert or Halloween - lovely traditions and I am ever thankful that we live in a country founded on judeochristian values and principles.
